Die Uhr selbst hat Tragespuren, ist meines Erachtens nach nie poliert, nur „Hemden-Politur“ und läuft perfekt. Schaltung von Wochentag und Datum ebenso. Mit Seriennummer 526**** eine der ersten Quickset Modelle. Band hat etwas Stretch, ist aber richtig lang (ich müßte ein Glied rausnehmen) und vollzählig, aber auch keine Reuse….perfekt zum Tragen.
Die Uhr wurde früher regelmäßig bei Rolex Köln gewartet, war insgesamt 6 mal in Köln- siehe Bild vom Deckel. Aktuell sehe ich keine Bedarf für eine Revi, die Uhr läuft gut. Momentan finde ich nur eine blaue Stella mit Brillis im Verkauf und die kostet 49K aus USA….
Beautiful watch – a whitegold Day-Date Singlequick with Vignette dial and original diamond setting. These dials share the same way in manufacturing like the Stellas and look the same way with a deep bright colour…often seen in yellow gold, extremely rare in white gold.
The watch has signs of wear but was imho not polished- just by the shirt. Watch runs within COSC specs, day and date change is crisp and spot on. It is one of the first 18039 with low serial. Bracelet has some stretch but is full of life and complete, very long.
The watch was serviced on a regular basis at Rolex Cologne- 6 times in total, see scan of caseback innerside. It is the only blue vignette dial for sale at the moment- just a blue Stella in the US but asking price is 49K Euro….
